Here are a few more facts about me:
Which movie do you start laughing out loud even when you watch it alone?
"A ticket for two" with Steve Martin and John Candy. A unique cascade of catastrophes with a touching ending.
If you could have a video of a situation of your choice in your life. What situation would that be?
Skiing vacation: when going through the turnstile, I awkwardly had one leg in front and one in the back. Just as I was free again (with the long skis on my feet) the chairlift came rushing in from the side and hammered me across the square. Since nothing has happened and glosting plays a major role in our family, I would bring a lot of joy to some relatives.
What topic could you give a 30 minute presentation on without any preparation?
I'm just wondering, on which one I couldn't do that about ... hm, searching... contact me again!
What should never be missing in your fridge?
Contrary to what many people think, it's not beer, but yogurt.
Can you describe the best concert or festival that you have experienced?
Iron Maiden cannot be missing here, the show is simply worth seeing every time. Judas Priest are pretty unmatched by the sound. But there are also other bands that have it all: Starset in the Hamburg market hall was such an experience. They don't call it a concert, they call it a presentation. Anyone who has ever been there also knows why.
What event in your life are you most grateful for?
In retrospect, the worst mistakes you make make you become a better person. A little humility and self-knowledge don't hurt.
If your house was on fire and you could only save one item, which one would it be?
Defintely a Fender Precision bass - it has to be saved because it belongs to a band mate! But since I can carry more at once, I would save two special guitars. You don't get something like that again.
What is your absolute dream job?
Well, I've found it here a long time ago. Curious as I am, I get to the bottom of all kinds of industries (see point 3), lifelong, in-depth and sustainable learning. And then network what you have learned and develop new things with great colleagues. It couldn't be better.
What do you think is the key to a good parenting?
Loving honesty, active example with positive motivation and fairness. Sounds easy, but ... wait and see!
You will be banished to a lonely island and may take an item with you. Which would that be?
One item doesn't work, that's clear so far. In addition, the island is lonely, but has its own power generation and a attrctive topography. So: a guitar (don't forget new strings!), a recording device, all the friends who want to come along, plenty of supplies for 3 years and decent outdoor equipment. And if I think about it right, the best thing is internet, WiFi & PC stuff plus a nice 25 meter yacht, party on! (Who wants to come & join...?)
