Here are a few more facts about me:

Where in your home are you most productive?
Who would have thought it: In the recording studio, hehehe.

Did you have a pet as a child or did you really want one back then?
A so-called "Russian rabbit" (as an albino with red eyes and completely white with black paws, ears, nose and ... "flower". Does that raise a question mark? Ask Mr. Google.

Who has had the biggest influence on you in your life?
Eddie van Halen and Glenn Tipton (Judas Priest) on guitars. Ken Follett as an author. Thomas von Kölln awakened in me an enthusiasm for history.

What advice from your parents or grandparents would you like to pass on?
My father passed on to me his passion for lifelong learning. So the advice is "stay curious, there is so much to discover!"

If you could have a video of a situation of your choice from your life. What situation would that be?
Skiing holiday: when going through the turnstile, I clumsily had one leg in front and one behind. Just as I was free again (with the long skis on my feet), the chairlift came rushing from the side and flung me across the course. Since nothing happened and schadenfreude plays a real role in our family, I would make some relatives mighty happy with it.

What event in your life are you most grateful for?
The worst mistakes you make, in retrospect, make you a better person. A little humility and self-awareness doesn't hurt.

What is your absolute dream job?
Well, I found it here a long time ago. Curious as I am, I get to the bottom of all kinds of industries (see point 3), lifelong, deep and sustainable learning. And then networking what I've learned and developing new things with great colleagues. It doesn't get any better than that.

What do you think is the key to a good education?
Loving honesty, active example with positive motivation and justice. Sounds easy enough, but ... wait for it!

You are banished to a desert island and allowed to take one item with you. What would that be?
You can't take one, that's for sure. Besides, the island is lonely, but it has its own power generation and charming topography. So: a guitar (don't forget new strings!), a recording device, any friends who want to come along, plenty of supplies for 3 years and some decent outdoor gear. And if I really think about it, preferably also internet, WLAN & PC stuff plus a nice 25-metre yacht, party on! (Who wants to come?)
